chamber music>jazz>crossover

New viennese ensemble „flauto di jazz“ loves the unusual: Jazz sound out of a flute can rarely be heard in itself – even more unusual seems what they play: Focussing on „off standard“ music, the ensemble finds itself making music on the crossroads of the styles, where improvisation and notation, jazz and classical music, the old and the new can meet and communicate.

Works by contemporary composers such as Claude Bolling, Mike Mower or Viennese Thomas Turko seem perfect for the three musicians to unify their diversified talents - musically rowing the same boat.
